The Outfitter Back Band from Surf to Summit is made with a proprietary compression molding technology that permanently bonds the fabric to the foam, making for a seat product that will last longer than cut and sewn back bands. The PVC reinforced plastic back provides firm support. This is an excellent introductory back band. It was designed with kayak surfing in mind, being flexible enough for leaning back and transferring weight to the rear as needed but with sufficient back support for periods of paddling out to sea or waiting for a good wave.
