The LoungeBand Backband - Ratchet-Style Backband for Whitewater Kayaks from Immersion Research is effectively identical to the Reggie Backband but larger, for maximum support, and features the same, patented, adjustable, no-slip ratchet technology based on snowboard binding ratchets. Designed with whitewater kayaks and playboats in mind, it can be configured to fit almost any kayak. The hardware is salt water resistant. The plastic and foam insert that covers a stainless steel core is itself covered with soft, abrasion-resistant neoprene. Adjustable to your comfort level.
Installation: While IR back bands are generally easy to install, you may need to carefully follow the installation instructions in the two videos offered below, depending upon the type of kayak and cockpit rim that you have.
